District Collector’s Internship Programme is an unpaid multi-disciplinary internship programme offered by the Kozhikode District Administration to facilitate the development of a compassionate and professional civil society.
DCIP provides an opportunity for the youth to experience the real functioning of government machinery from within and to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

The District Collector’s Internship Program (DCIP) is highly selective and coveted. Through the 2-staged process, they select the highest potential candidates for the program.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Augment the capacities of District Administration and various departments
- Streamline execution of the district’s and states flagship schemes
- Innovate scalable & Sustainable projects
- Design and Deliver IEC campaigns
- Plan Develop and Execute Public Participation Programs and events
- Training and Creation of Knowledge Repository
- Provide Research and Analysis Support
- Assessment and feedback of Governmental programs
- Creating convergences between departments and between civil society and the Government
Eligibility Criteria
- Compassionate Individual with a passion for social change.
- Not above 30 years of age as of 10th June 2022.
- Undergraduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Proficiency in English and Malayalam.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within teams.
- MS Office proficiency to create presentation documents and spreadsheets.
- Good Analytical skills and respect for diversity.
