The Irish Fair returns to Harriet Island in St. Paul on Friday for a three-day celebration.
New additions to the popular festival include pub trivia, an Irish toast competition, a sing-along and Irish comedy (featuring three Irish standup comics).
There will also be live music and performances by local Irish dance schools and groups; Celtic merchandise for sale; a “ZeroK” Couch Potato Run (a fundraiser in which the start and finish line are less than 10 feet apart); demonstrations of traditional Irish sports; and much more.
A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday.
The Irish Fair is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to promoting and preserving Irish culture and art in Minnesota. This is the 42nd fair, which returned in 2021 after canceling in 2020 due to the pandemic.
