Minnesota United made two comebacks in a 2-2 draw with Philadelphia Union on Friday in Orlando, Fla.
Julian Carranza put Philadelphia ahead in the first half, but Loons midfielder Robin Lod scored the equalizer just before the break. Then Daniel Gazdag put Union in front again in the 52nd minute before Minnesota’s Diogo Pacheco finished a cross to make it level in the 77th minute.
The Loons improved to 1-0-1 in preseason friendlies, with a 1-0 win over New York City FC on Jan. 18.
MNUFC will play Orlando City on Wednesday before returning to Minnesota; the team will then travel to California in mid-February for a handful of exhibition matches and open the 2023 season on Feb. 25 at FC Dallas.
