Vikings outside linebacker Danielle Hunter will be joining his teammates in Las Vegas.
On Monday morning, Hunter was officially named to the Pro Bowl, replacing Philadelphia Eagles outside linebacker Haason Reddick, who is unable to participate due to the Super Bowl. This means the Vikings will have both of their star pass rushers represented as fellow outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith has already been named to the Pro Bowl.
After recovering from a host of injuries, Hunter started every game this season, posting 65 tackles, a team-leading 10½ sacks, and a career-high-tying 22 quarterback hits. He also totaled 76 pressures this season, the eighth-most in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.
Aside from Hunter and Smith, the Vikings will have quarterback Kirk Cousins, running back Dalvin Cook, wide receiver Justin Jefferson, tight end T.J. Hockenson, and long snapper Andrew DePaola in attendance at the Pro Bowl.
It’s worth noting that there won’t be an actual game between the NFC and AFC this time around. Instead, the NFL has implemented various skills competitions, followed by a flag football game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Feb. 5 to close out the week of action.

In a small transaction, the Vikings signed defensive lineman Sheldon Day to a futures deal. The 28-year-old spent some time with the Vikings practice squad this past season.
