Duration of Internship
I interned at Vohra and Vohra for 1 month.
Since this was an online internship, I didn’t have to go to the office at all. I was consistently in touch with Mr. Sridharan Rajan Ramkumar who guided me and helped me with all the tasks.
He was always readily available and I could contact him without any hesitation when I had any doubts. This also happened to be my first internship and I had several apprehensions but the warm and professional atmosphere always helped.
The firm dealt with Litigation as well as the Prosecution of IPR. As an intern, I did research work and drafting. I really wanted to attend live court proceedings but due to the ongoing pandemic that couldn’t happen.
I personally feel that guidance is a very important part of an internship. For someone like me who is just beginning to intern and is largely still unexposed to many aspects of laws, their application, and legal drafting, a professional and warm workplace was an ideal option to explore my interests in IPR as law and Vohra and Vohra happened to be that place for me.
I was fortunate enough to have worked under the direct supervision and guidance of a partner at the firm. All in all, it was a very professionally and educationally fulfilling experience.
The pandemic and having to do this internship from home would be the only bad thing. I really hoped to visit the office and work there physically.
I wasn’t given any stipend but it was all worth it since I learned a lot in form of experience.
